On 3rd of December was held EIT Food Hub Latvia un EIT Food Hub Lithuania an online event: Neighbours chat: Innovation in Agriculture in Latvia & Lithuania. During the seminar Maira Dzelzkalēja-Burmistre presented experiment of the project “SmartAgriHubs” on groundwater and meteo sensors as a Latvian innovation.

Agriculture has always been a great driver for innovation, especially now as the demand and standards of quality for food is rapidly rising. During the seminar audience learned about innovations that already exists in Latvia and Lithuania – countries where agriculture is at the heart of the local economy.
