SmartAgriHubs webinar on Digital Innovations

On 9th of July North East Europe Regional Cluster were organising a Webinar where participants presented the achievements, challenges and activities carried since the beginning of the SmartAgriHubs Project. The Webinar aimed to inform the existing network and to engage new organisations in joining the cluster to co-design, co-develop and benefit from the opportunities offered by the SmartAgriHubs network.

The Webinar included a presentation by Harald Sundmaeker about the upcoming SmartAgriHubs calls as one of the channels to expand the existing network, and it included presentations of results from the innovation experiments, and updates from regional Digital Innovation Hubs. Furthermore, the Webinar included presentations from Kevin Doolin, coordinator of DEMETER project, about the project pilots and upcoming call, and a presentation from Piotr Szczęsny about an autonomous robot project as cooperation success story.

Additionally, some ideas for the upcoming calls were introduced by SMEs and then a Q&A session finalised the Webinar where technical innovations, networking opportunities as well as opportunities for financial support for digitalization projects in the agri-food sector were discussed. In addition to the experts representing these organisations, the Webinar counted with the participation of representatives of other key stakeholders including VC organisations that may support the upcoming call.
